There are four special events that occur at Cornerstone that have been a source of great fellowship and bringing the body together for fun and relaxation. They are described below. We invite you to attend any of these events and share with our church family.

This is a special summer picnic at Lancaster's Rising Park. We eat, sit around, talk and enjoy a nice summer afternoon.

This gathering is held at Lancaster's Rising Park in one of the
upper shelter houses that has a fireplace. We build a
fire, roast hot dogs and s'mores, fellowship and enjoy the
fall afternoon.

In 2009 we started what has become an annual church clothing giveaway on December 24th. Area residents are invited to come into the church and look through the items of clothing and housewares that we have collected throughout the year. The items are provided at no cost. It has been a blessing to meet our neighbors and minister to their needs in this way.

Our very special annual Christmas service (since 1988) has been held at an offsite location for the past several years due to the number of people attending. We have special music from members of the church, carry-in dinner food provided by the members of the church and great fellowship. This is a great time to relax just before Christmas day. The event is generally held on the Sunday evening just prior to Christmas Day.
