Pastor Tom and Tammy and Family

Pastor Tom was born and raised in Carroll, Ohio. He was born-again in January of 1973 at 10 years old . Pastor Tom felt called to be a Pastor when he was a freshman in high school. His work in the ministry began by teaching Children's Church and leading Praise and Worship at a non-denominational church in Lancaster, OH. The road of ministry included Youth Pastor and then Pastor. He is the founder of New Testament Ministries which later became Cornerstone New Testament Church.

Tammy is from Lancaster, Ohio and was raised in church from a very young age. She began singing in the youth choir at age 10. She has served God in Praise and Worship through adult choir, special singing groups and backup and lead singing . Pastor Tom and Tammy met as teenagers at a youth meeting and began leading praise and worship together after they were married. They have been married for 28 years and have three children.

Children's Pastor Dianna Swain

Dianna has been involved with children's ministry for 30 years.
She has been our children's pastor for 14 years. In addition to her
work at Cornerstone, Dianna is a Gifted Intervention Specialist and she teaches at Rushville Middle School and Berne Union Middle School. She and her husband Randall are on the Leadership Team for SuperKids Ministries, a summer camp outreach ministry. Dianna and Randall have 5 children and 6 grandchildren.

Elder/Foundation Stones Instructor – Mary K. (Kathy) Sowers

Kathy is a member of the Church Advisory Board and is
the teacher of the Foundation Stones classes. Kathy is a founding member of Cornerstone. She studied and received a Bible School diploma from Rhema Correspondence School (Rhema Bible Training Center, Tulsa, OK) in July 1999. Kathy was married to Lawrence Sowers for 38 years prior to his passing. They have three children and seven grandchildren.

Worship Team

Pastor Tom – plays guitar and is the primary worship leader

Tammy – plays piano and sings/leads

Cathy Ryan – sings and plays drums as needed

Trent Underwood – drums

Tiffany Underwood – sings
